Hello. I'm James Doneth and this is my blog. Now you may be wondering, "Who is James Doneth," or "What photography? There aren't any posts here!" Both of these questions will be answered soon enough. Let me introduce myself. This is me. This was taken by my friend Hunter Staples, but it is the best headshot I could find of myself. I'm a senior at Saline High School and will be going to (hopefully) the University of Michigan in Dearborn. I plan on majoring in Accounting and earning my bachelor's degree in that field. I work at the McDonald's in Saline, Michigan as a crew trainer and I am also one of the 4 producer for the Saline High School sport show Hornet Nation. Music means a lot to me. It can change the mood of literally anything, it can be a way to relieve stress, it can be a way to have fun, etc. Currently on my Macbook, I have over 2,000 songs and on my older Macbook, I have over 5,000. Some of those songs are duplicates, but you get what I'm saying. I love music.
My love for music links to my reason of why I joined this class. When I was in 11th grade, I joined Video News Production. I wanted to create videos that were meaningful and what better way to an depth to video is with some good music? That is when I found my love for cinematography. Being exposed to DSLRs, as well as video editing programs, I really wanted to create breathtaking photographs! So I decided to take this course in my senior year so I could get one step closer to that goal. I already had experience with Photoshop and Lightroom, but I didn't have the experience with the cameras themselves. I'm excited to take this class and be able to start creating blog posts to show my photographs. |
